About the event

Publishing research is a key step in academic careers, but navigating the process can be challenging. This informal Sip & Chat session will explore essential aspects of research dissemination in Translation and Interpreting Studies, including scientific honesty, the peer-review system, open access, impact factors, and authorship. Join us for an engaging conversation over coffee and gain practical insights into academic publishing!

In this informal session, Morgane Bona-Pellissier and Giorgina Cerutti will ask Claudio Bendazzoli, Marie-Hélène Girard and Albert Morales about their experience navigating the publishing process in TIS, from choosing the right journal to dealing with peer review and open access options. All participants will be encouraged to join this conversation and ask their own questions.
