About the event
This moderated roundtable will explore interdisciplinary research involving Translation and Interpreting Studies. The four panelists, all of whom carry out interdisciplinary research that involves translation or interpreting, will engage in a critical, reflective conversation focused on their experiences as interdisciplinary researchers, the challenges and rewards of carrying out research that crosses disciplinary boundaries, and their advice for scholars considering taking on interdisciplinary projects. The roundtable is primarily aimed at aspiring and current PhD students, but will also be of interest to scholars interested in increasing their knowledge of interdisciplinary research.
