Join us for a discussion about teaching for the first time, or for the first time in a while! This interactive event will allow participants to share best practices and tools. We’ll explore curriculum development, classroom management and effective assessment.

About the event
In this workshop, we will talk about the essential steps to successfully start your first course. We'll cover practical tips for developing a comprehensive course outline, designing effective assessments, and implementing best practices for classroom management. I will also share insights from my own journey, briefly discussing my research and teaching experience.
Participants will be invited to reflect on their pedagogical challenges. Come armed with your questions about pedagogy, I’ll do my best to answer them! Participants will also engage in a small group exercise to share their questions and explore answers with their colleagues.
The workshop will conclude with a discussion on the insights gained during the group exercise, addressing remaining questions and fostering a broader conversation on effective teaching strategies.
